Who We Are

Economic Stimulus

"It's time to talk about other steps to stimulate the economy and how to pay for them."

Denver Post, January 22, 2008

The RangerXpress will create 355,000 new jobs over 10 years, and $ 34 billion increased business sales over 10 years.

With peak oil being and issue, the cost of moving people and goods is rising. Tourists -- and Colorado -- are avoiding the Western Slope, all due to traffic.

As Colorado, we know that we enjoy one of the best qualities of life in the United States. Traffic, congestion -- and the air pollution this causes -- are all damaging our quality of life. What better legacy can we leave to our children -- while making our own lives better -- than the RangerXpress?

The RangerXpress stimulates the economy -- while happening to build a first class passenger rail system. Best of all, by selling passenger tickets, and using the system at night to haul cargo (think FedEx, UPS and U.S. Post Office shipping), the cost of running this system will be covered.

Not to mention . . .
"Spend money to aid economy on climate: U.N. official"
